Pertaringa The Yeoman Shiraz
Wine
Bec Hardy Wines Pertaringa The Yeoman Shiraz is only produced in outstanding vintages. It comprises the best parcels of Shiraz from several blocks, including some where the vines are over 100 years old.
The fruit from each block is kept separate throughout the winemaking. Select parcels are handpicked while others are machine harvested. Destemmed but not crushed, the grapes are fermented as whole berries.
Maturation takes place in 50% new French oak hogsheads. After 20 months, the batches are blended and bottled.
Deep red black, Bec Hardy Wines Pertaringa The Yeoman Shiraz is a balanced wine with layers of intense dark fruits, fine grained tannins and a long finish. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
